New Factory Building

Desember, 2007

Extrapack Ltd. is start building it's second factory, for flexo-printed bags. The new, modern factory will be located about 5 km. from the first factory of the company. Several factory-units, as well as a warehouse, will be built, covering an area of 20 000 sq. m. . Main focus of the new factory will be products of biodegradable, plastic and paper carrier bags.

More than 230 people will be employed in the new factory. The total investment comes up to 12 mil. eur. It will triple the capacity of Extrapack Ltd. for flexo-printed bags. The planed starting of factory is middle of 2009 year.

New projects take big care on environment. For example, heating of the buildings will be done by heat-pumps, that will utilize rest power from the machines. All rain and waste waters will be cleaned and collected for future using.
Extrapack Ltd. is the leading Bulgarian manufacturer of carrier bags. Currently, the company manufactures 800 tons of bags per month, from plastic and paper. About 30% from the production is for customers in western Europe.

International Plovdiv Fair

August, 2006

Between the 25th and the 29th of September in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria The International Technical Fair will take place. Over 2000 Bulgarian and Foreign Companies, including Extrapack Ltd., will participate. You are welcome to visit the company's stand, which is, as usual, in Chamber No.18. You will be able to see there the whole range of products, produced by Extrapack Ltd., as well as the newest models of Photoprinted Bags. Duppont Grand prix

November, 2005

Extrapack Ltd. took award in category "carrier bags" on Dupont's Grand Prix Cyrel competition. This year's event was hosted in Instanbul. Grand Prix Cyrel is most prestige competition for flexo-printing companies.

ISO 9001:2000 Certification

September, 27th 2004

Today Extrapack Ltd was certificated on conformity to ISO 9001:2000 international standard. Audit has been made by TUV Rheinland Bulgaria. In a matter of a fact this is just another one independent admission of our Quality Management System (QMS), which we develop and improve past 4 years. We will continue to perfect our QMS in order to become Top European Company for advertising bags.

bagDealing

July 1st, 2004
Extrapack Ltd. put in action unique on-line based instant quoting system to support their agents in Europe. The system called bagDealing includes AI (Artificial Intelligence software), which can make quotations for virtually each product in Company's product range.
Extrapack currently is the biggest Bulgarian producer of printed plastic/paper bags. The Company has more than 350 employees, and 800 tons high-quality plastic bags are produced per month. Last two years the Company increased its export to Western countries about 3 times.

New factory units

October 30th, 2003
Extrapack Ltd. launched 2 new-built workshops: one for production of polyethylene bags, responding to the European standards, and an other one for recycling of technological waste. The investment is over EUR 1 500 000 and it will give job 80 people until New year. The third new company workshop is to be finished soon. There will be concentrated the flexoprinting capacity.

about Extrapack

The modern production complex of Extrapack Ltd. cover more than 10 000 sq.m. and there are over 300 people.

Extrapack Ltd. was established in y. 1995 in Bulgaria by five young enterprisers, whose efforts were directed towards creating a company-leader in polyethylene packaging production. Within the next years Extrapack significantly increases its production capacity and therefore establishes representation offices in all large Bulgarian towns. The main part of the company's profit is being reinvested in qualified staff and high-tech equipment. In the spring of 2000 Extrapack made a "green field investment", launching a big modern plant, located in the West industry area of Veliko Turnovo town. At present it has over 350 employees with annual turnover (2005) of more than 18 millions of Euro.
