THE TECHNOLOGY

The polyethylene granules pass through long and complicated procedures in the Extrapack's industrial units before becoming the desired by our clients articles: bags, sacks, foils etc. Everything starts with the extrusion of polyethylene sleeves and foils. Once they are made, the sleeves and foils are being printed using a technology called "flexoprinting". At the end they are being ready-made in final products through heat sealing and cutting. It is possible to have some technological waste during the latter, which is being recycled and reused for extrusion of sleeves and foils.

EXTRUSION
No matter whether we need a sleeve for small size envelopes or a foil for greenhouses, we have the possibility to produce it. Using over 30 extruding machines, we cover an exclusively large range of sizes, thickness and materials:
  • LDPE - width from 16 to 140 cm, thickness from 20 to 200 mic;
  • TRIOLEN - width from 80 to 140 cm, thickness from 40 to 100 mic;
  • HDPE - width from 20 to 140 cm, thickness from 8 to 100 mic;
  • PP - width from 30 to 50 cm, thickness from 20 to 40 mic;
PRINTING
In order to materialize our clients' ideas we have 4 precise flexoprinting machines. The leader between them is MIRA CI 1200/6 of the Italian company BONARDI SRL., which is microprocessor-controlled. An important role for the impressive print have also the photo-polymer plates of the American concern DuPont and printing's ink of the French company SICPA.
LAMINATING
In order to achieve the perfect design or some special characteristics it is necessary two or more polymer foils to be laminated. Extrapack uses a state-of-the-art - solventless laminating machine with two-component glues, also from the Italian company BONARDI SRL. Its advantages are that it does not need unhealthy solvents and power consuming is lower. Therefore this technology is more ecological, protects our our workers' health and save our clients' money.
CUTTING AND SEALING
Extrapack has a large range of cutting and sealing machines. They make possible producing of nearly all kinds of widespread polyethylene bags. Most of them are with PLC control, which guarantees the high quality of our products.
RECYCLING
The technology, used by Extrapack, is non-wasting. The refuse is being recycled and reused . For recycling purposes Extrapack has built a separate plant with total capacity of over 500 kg/per hour.
DESIGN AND PREPRESS
We pay our extreme attention on the preliminary preparation of the clients' projects. Sometimes they might need a few finishing touches in order to be prepared for flexoprint.

It is good that we have the latest technology, but it is not enough on its own to satisfy our clients' requests. What makes all the machines to work synchronously, producing the most qualified polymer packaging, is known all over the world as "know how".
